Consultation and Assessment
- Professional assessment services by occupational therapists are provided by the Jockey Club "a home" Elderly Technology Education and Rental Service Center, and are conducted either at home or at the center according to the user's needs.
- The scope of services includes: assessment of daily living functions, cognitive ability assessment, recommendations and training for assistive technology for seniors, caregiver skills training, and home environment safety improvements, etc.
The target group is individuals aged 60 and above who have mobility needs due to physical function issues.
- The home visit occupational therapy assessment service lasts one hour per session, with a fee of $1,300.
- The occupational therapy assessment service conducted at the center lasts for 45 minutes to 1 hour per session, with a fee of $500.

Cleaning and Maintenance Services
The Elderly Technology Cleaning and Maintenance Service Center provides cleaning and disinfection services for assistive devices to citizens across Hong Kong, social welfare organizations, and care homes.
- The service can clean most manual wheelchairs, shower chairs, commodes, walkers, canes, and handrails.
- The center will thoroughly understand the types, models, and conditions of the equipment before the customer makes a service appointment, and will determine whether the equipment is suitable for cleaning by the center.

- Individual customers need to bring their equipment to the center for cleaning.
- After the equipment is cleaned, if the customer requests transportation services, the center can assist in arranging logistics for home delivery, with the cost to be paid directly to the driver by the customer (not applicable to customers who have borrowed mobility wheelchairs).
The center is temporarily not providing this service.
The center will provide a stamped official receipt.
The center only accepts cash payments and bank deposits.
The center may not have enough cash to continue.
In general, if the customer's equipment is damaged due to the use of the cleaning and disinfection service, this service will refund the service fee for that equipment to the customer and compensate the customer for the equipment, with the maximum compensation for each piece of equipment being twice the service fee charged by this service for that equipment.
The Elderly Technology Cleaning and Maintenance Service Center is only open for visits by individuals participating in guided tours for groups. Rental Service
All seniors aged 60 or above can apply for our rental services (with priority support for recently discharged elderly patients, elderly individuals living alone, elderly couples, and seniors with long-term care needs).
Rental equipment currently includes
- mobility aids (such as special function wheelchairs and electric assist walkers)
- Daily living aids (such as medical care ultra-low beds, bathtub handrails, shower chairs, etc.)
- Accessible environment architecture and universal design (e.g., ramps)

We will actively seek more suitable elderly care technology equipment based on the needs of users, market responses, and the opinions of the professional team involved in this project.
The rental service determines eight common payment levels based on the monthly income of the service user's household. Service users are required to pay the specified rent and deposit for each rental equipment according to their assigned level. The aim is to enable service users to use elderly-friendly technology equipment under affordable conditions, assisting seniors in aging at home and improving their quality of life.
